About me...I have been an artist for as long as I can remember, having a love for art as far back as a little girl ( my mom and dad still have a picture I drew of the flintstones at age 5 ) with portraits being my favorite to do. I named this site the Barbie canvas because I look at myself as specializing in facial repaints ( doing a mini portrait on a doll...whether it be a celebrity or any real life person. I am obsessed with getting the painted facial features just right, and will continue to push myself to improve :o) I maintain this website myself so its not perfect...lol but I do make sure that its updated, so check back often as I am adding new things and ooaks all the time.
