LATEST NEWS!!! One of my dolls has now officially been on tv :D ( The Ellen DeGeneres show, on April 9th! ) It was shown in her "viewer art" segment, and I hope to have a picture from the show posted here soon! :D

About me...I have been an artist for as long as I can remember, having a love for art as far back as a little girl ( my mom and dad still have a picture I drew of the flintstones at age 5 ) with portraits being my favorite to do. I named this site the Barbie canvas because I look at myself as specializing in repaints ( doing a mini portrait on a Barbie...whether it be to look like a vintage/mod Barbie or like a person....it has to be perfect ) Yes, I am obsessed with getting the painted facial features perfect! LOL probably because I am an artist :D I maintain this website myself so its not perfect...lol but I do make sure that its updated, so check back often as I am adding new things and ooaks all the time.
